How do I get started?
After signing up, the onboarding flow walks you through selecting your issues, entering your location, and setting up your daily briefing. The whole process takes about 3 minutes.
What is a free AI action?
Any AI-assisted draft — a public comment, letter to the editor, or legislator correspondence. Reading legislation, regulations, and legislator profiles never counts against your limit.
My issues aren't showing up after onboarding. What should I do?
Issues should save correctly during onboarding. If they aren't appearing under Settings → Issues, try refreshing the page or completing onboarding again. If the problem persists, email support@gimmealever.com.
How does the daily briefing work?
Each morning, Gimme A Lever scans your tracked issues for new legislation, open comment periods, and upcoming votes — then generates a personalized briefing. You need at least one tracked issue for briefings to appear.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period. You can manage everything from Settings → Subscription.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, within 7 days of any charge. Email support@gimmealever.com with your account email and we'll process it promptly.
Is my data private?
Yes. We never sell your data. Your political interests and actions are yours. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings → Privacy.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@gimmealever.com with a description of what happened and what you expected to happen. Screenshots are helpful but not required.
